Job Title: Project Manager Job ID: 14811 Location: Wakefield,MA, US Full/Part Time: Regular/Temporary: Regular Line of Business:Epsilon About the Opportunity The Project Manager role at Epsilon is responsible for the overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts from initiation through delivery. The position acts as the primary client interface regarding technical delivery as assigned by the Client Relationship Manager, provides strategic recommendations for technical deliverables and is the internal liaison among internal teams such as Product Management, Development and Quality Assurance. Successful candidates establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to deliver projects on time, within budget and with the high quality standards that meet the expectations of the customer. Responsibilities * Create project plans for client deliverable work * Identify resource needs, assign tasks and monitor work efforts and progress on a daily basis * Review, manage and adhere to client project plan; ensure that projects remain on schedule * Manage and monitor the quality of work and client deliverables within forecast and budget and also work with the development team to ensure seamless migration of systems from development to production * Ensure compliance to technology standards * Create and maintain project list, communicating the client priorities to the technical staff, communicating production-related issues to client and team, and providing on-going project status to the Client Relationship Manager regarding technical delivery * In general, coordinate communication among all areas of the enterprise to minimize any impact to the scope, budget, and resources of the work effort being managed * Understand and manage third party tool enhancements and assess impact to existing systems while also working with both the client and the internal team to prioritize enhancement requests and processing requirements Qualifications * Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field * Extensive experience with systems development and project life cycles (including, but not limited to: requirements gathering, writing functional specification, working with technical developers to clearly convey the business requirements, testing/sign-off, and post implementation support) * Working knowledge of SQL and experience with a web-based ad-hoc querying tool * Ability to manage a team and mentor others in a matrixed work environment * Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams * Ability to influence others to achieve results * Ability to prioritize projects and deliverables * Strong communication and organizational skills * Self motivation and the ability to learn quickly and multi-task * A marketing background and/or project management experience with database builds are preferable Compensation and Benefits Alliance Data offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive selection of benefit options including 401(k).
