Our Government client is looking for a Integration Specialist on a 12 month term assignment. Salary $70,000-78,000K Knowledge of Integration and Middleware strategy, as well as Service Oriented Architecture. In depth experience in working with Process Modeling, Design Patterns, UML, Object Oriented Analysis & Design and Rational Rose Knowledge and experience in SDLC methodologies like Agile, Kanban, Lean, ITIL or RUP, relational design methodologies and testing standards. Knowledge and in-depth experience in a wide range of integration and middleware technologies including: WebSphere MQ, Message Broker, WebSphere Application Server Understanding of z/OS, Unix, Windows, middleware and web-based technologies; experience in working with DB2/UDB, Oracle and SQL Server Knowledge and experience in Program Languages/Development Tools: Java, JavaScript, J2EE, Web services, .NET, Servlets, MVC, HTML, XML, XSLT, XSD, JSP, JSF, JMS, JDBC, AJAX, SQL, RAD, Visual Studio, OOA/OOD/OOP Knowledge and experience in frameworks such as Struts, Spring and Hibernate, web usability and accessibility standards, data modeling and database performance optimization Verbal and written communication skills in order to translate business requirements into solution architecture requirements and detailed technical specifications Analytical and problem solving skills in order to trouble-shoot integration issues and promote operational continuity Interactive skills to effectively build relationships with team members, internal and external stakeholders. This role will involve the following types of activities: gather business and technical requirements by attending planning, requirements, solution design workshops prepare detailed design specification design, develop, test and implement end-to-end web application and integration components based on Client's standards and industry’s best practice using J2EE/JavaEE or .NET solution frameworks and EAI/middleware technology Conduct and attend technical and detailed design walkthroughs and code reviews support all testing, create code drop release notes attend defect meetings resolve development related issues/defects participate in implementation and post-implementation support Must Have Requirements Strong skills in Web application and Integration design and development. Knowledge and experience in Rational Application Development Tool, Java, JavaScript, J2EE, Web services, Servlets, MVC, HTML, XML, XSLT, XSD, JSP, JSF, JMS, JDBC, AJAX, SQL, RAD, Visual Studio, OOA/OOD/OOP, DB2/UDB, SQL Server and Oracle.
