ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Involved in all aspects of the software development process including design, testing, and debugging. Develop software tools according to company policy, finalize user requirement specifications and thoroughly document code. Train internal staff and customers on site when applicable. Decompose existing software and may out the module relationships. Recommend appropriate development tools. Conducts internet research and subscribes to periodicals to stay current on applicable technology. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Required - ASP.Net, C++, C#, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Reporting Services Microsoft CRM and Microsoft Sharepoint. Helpful - Microsoft Dynamics SL integration, customization and report development. OTHER SKILLS General knowledge in a variety of software development tools such as Visual Studio and Visual Studio.Net. Proven ability to work in team environments as well as independently. Must possess an excellent understanding and knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the software-development field. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers and department staff.
