Creative, reliable Copywriter for Freelance Opportunity   BGT Partners, an interactive marketing agency with numerous awards for being an awesome place to work (that wasn’t the actual name of the award, but it’s close), seeks a highly creative copywriter for our Chicago office to work as a freelancer on-site.   To be successful at BGT, you must fit in well with a group of people who are deadly serious about our work, while not taking ourselves too seriously. In addition, your creativity must be matched by a keen business sense and a single-minded focus on producing the best work possible, whether it’s Monday, Friday or any of those other ones in the middle.   What you will do:   ·         Write and edit content for web pages, email, social media and blog posts, maintaining a consistent voice across channels for each client. ·         Contribute to the development of ongoing content strategy, including editorial calendars. ·         Deliver relevant, “sticky” topics that feed client editorial calendars with the goal of engaging and building audiences. ·         Brainstorm news and featured articles, blog posts, podcasts and other online content related to clients. ·         Support creation of rich media content such as infographics and videos. ·         Become an integral part of the overall creative team and supply fresh, fun ideas that help our clients meet their marketing objectives.     What you need to do it:   ·         Ability to write in a variety of formats and styles for multiple audiences, from business to consumer and from technical to touchy-feely. ·         Complete command of language and grammar, without reliance on spell checkers and grammar checkers; experience with editorial content development preferred. standing ofg ·         Skilled in short and long copy – both waxing poetic and getting to the point, depending on the circumstance. ·         Highly skilled in editing and proof reading with good research skills and exceptional attention to detail. ·         Experience in applying SEO best practices in to content development. ·         Capable of accepting creative direction and working in a team environment. ·         Must have a professional portfolio and must describe contribution to each example within your portfolio.
