Children's Novelty Productin Controller ( 6 Months to 1 Year)

The Client: A leading trade publisher based in Central London is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Children’s Production Controller to join their team on a 6 to 12 month contract. The purpose of this role is to deliver high level novelty products across some of the most prestigious brands and authors in children’s publishing. The role: you will be responsible for delivering the product development strategy for the Penguin Production department. You will be responsible for coordinating and negotiating costings, scheduling, quality control and general problems solving, agreeing purchasing strategy and maintaining component supplier base with a CSR focus. Working across a wide range of titles you will manage strict deadlines to ensure projects are completed to required time and quality standards. You will play a key role in problem shooting across the department actively sharing your expertise on novelty products and safety testing. You: You’re naturally fascinated by great books and production; you will enjoy tackling a challenge, working in a team to make things happen. You’ll be an excellent communicator with an eye for detail and adept at working well under pressure. If you are passionate about production, commercially aware and can demonstrate a high level of efficiency then this could be the perfect role for you.
