As a Network Communications Engineer (Technical Support) you�ll make sure that the communications and data services we need to support it are always up and running. And as you mentor and train growing operations and maintenance (O&M) department, you�ll have the perfect opportunity to grow your leadership skills and build a rewarding career in sustainable energy. You�ll support the delivery of automatic meter reading and building management systems that help do our job that much better. If any data communication problems do come up, you�ll lead the O&M team in diagnosis and finding a solution. You�ll also lead our communication projects and work closely with suppliers, improving performance and reducing cost wherever possible. The following experience is required: Qualified to degree level in a Network related subject. Previous experience as a Network Engineer. Familiar with broadband, fibre optic communications and data service requirements. Familiar with Automatic Meter Reading systems (MBUS, GSM, GPRS). Competent in producing network diagrams/drawings.
