Title: - Machine Learning Data Scientist Location: - Redwood City, CA Duration: - 6+ Months We are looking for an Machine Learning Data Scientist for our client in Redwood City, CA for a long term engagement. Required Skills: Ph.D. from reputed university in Machine Learning areas Real world experience in Machine Learning/Big Data Folks who publish in KDD/ICML/NIPS rather than networking conferences. Would have preferred to see SIGCOMM/INFOCOM publications rather than the venues he lists. Additional information: Experience working in an analytics role developing and implementing machine learning algorithms using R. Knowledge of relational databases (SQL) Proficiency in several machine learning techniques including but not limited to: Decision Trees, GLM, Clustering, Bayesian Networks, SVM, Random Forest, non-linear programming, Competence in model-building/model-validation Proficient in proto-typing models using programming languages (e.g. SAS, Python, etc) Proven ability to structure and analyze large data sets Applies rigor to justify arguments and reasoning Demonstrated strong communication skills, both oral and written Established expertise in exploratory data analyses and discovering patterns in unstructured data Send response to jobs@iapposite.com
