Whilst it is not necessary to be highly skilled in VB.NET / ASP.NET / SQL Server, candidates should have some experience working as a developer / programmer within a VB.NET / ASP.NET / SQL Server environment. It is expected that candidates should be able to assist in the development and maintenance of operational procedures for new and existing information systems and ICT projects. Configure, backup and troubleshoot database systems and ensure data availability, accuracy and reliability. In addition to experience working within a developer / programmer role, candidates should have strong Microsoft / MS Excel skills with the ability to contribute in the configuration and development of the ICT Helpdesk system and the implementation of ITIL standards.
