Job Description: Product & Components Support Specialist / Columbus IN FULL TIME / 5 MONTH CONTRACT 7:30 am - 4pm with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch Salary: 8.75 p/h Selected candidate will perform all or any part of the following work: *Ensure smooth and timely material flow from supplier to customer, planning, ordering, and expediting materials. *Maintain proactive contact with suppliers regarding order status/problems; provide information for affected cross-functional areas. *Enter data into databases. *Implement production scheduling systems; manage inventory levels in relation to capacity and capability; lead suppliers regarding inquiries/problems of procedure, delivery, status, pricing, structure, etc. *Enforce product and process structure and procedure; work through issues. *Interface with internal and external customers and suppliers to troubleshoot, research and problem solve issues; determine and initiate appropriate resolution. *Support materials receiving and shipping work and inventory auditing. *Interface with other areas and personnel in order to accomplish work responsibilities. *Perform other miscellaneous duties, as required, to get the job done. Job Experience: Qualifications: *High School Diploma or Equivalent *Receiving and cataloging warranty returns experience. *Basic part handling (able to lift 50lbs on occasional basis) *Past experience in a manufacturing type facility, inventory control, record keeping. *Past experience support both internal and external customers. *Ability to wear steel toes and safety glasses on daily basis. *Good background showing interactions with a diverse group. *Both internal and external customer support experience. *Familiarity with MS Office (Word and Excel) If you are interested in this position please apply online and if you are a fit a recruiter will contact you.
