Kforce is seeking a Quality Assurance Tech Level-I for a Seattle, Washington client. This position will be responsible for functional testing of application components and interfaces developed by the development team. They will work closely with Product Management, TPM, Development, and other testers to ensure complete functional path coverage across all levels of their applications. They will be responsible for contributing to the creation of comprehensive test plans, executing those test plans, and providing conclusive results in the form of test execution results and defect reports. The Quality Assurance Engineer has a broad range of developed skills which provides the ability to solve problems by applying a diverse set of experiences toward complex testing processes. Tasks: Regression testing on all the devices Verify Fixed Bugs Find edge cases, create bugs; and follow templates / standards Help in duplicating bug reproductions Measure and report performance numbers Break down performance by components and identify problem areas Run smoke testing for QA sign-off Buddy tests Integration tests Non-code related backlog items Assist in coordination and release management The successful Level-1 Technician applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): A College Graduate (Computer Science or similar technical field) Minimum one year of software testing experience or software development experience Experience with testing methodologies for consumer devices Strong analytical skills including excellent problem solving and excellent oral and written communication skills
