This is a Software Engineer opportunity at a smaller but aggressively growing company with headquarters in San Diego. This is a true software development shop and provides a fun working environment and flexible schedule. The main technologies/tools involved with this position are Java, JPA, JAX-RS, jQuery, HTML5 and Android, so the ideal candidate will have experience with most or all of these technologies. Main Duties and Responsibilities: - Contribute best-in-class programming skills to develop highly innovative, consumer-facing products - Create cutting edge applications for web and tablet devices - Drive complete features from requirements through to deployment and experimentation - Collaborate closely with other engineers, designers, managers, and executives to define, design, and package new features Skills and Requirements : - 5+ years of total software engineering experience in formal environments - 3+ years of Java/J2EE web development - Experience with most or all of the following: Java, JPA, JAX-RS, jQuery, HTML5 and Android - Familiar with Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD) - Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) architecture and Concepts - Knowledge of procedures and practices in all phases of software development life cycle - B.S.
