Job Description: Provides support to Mortgage Lenders by preparing loan closing documents and delivering them to Closing Agents, coordinating HUD approval and completing system updates in a timely manner. *Reviews, analyzes, and prepares closing loan documents for mortgage lender in a paperless and high volume environment *Validate MI certificate and coverage *Review title requirements for state specific mortgage attachments and /or state mortgage tax requirements *Complete Operating system for closing information *Update Tangible Net Benefit Form as needed *Verify prior to close conditions are cleared and docs are in the file *Review expiration dates for credit report, TVOE, rate lock, appraisal, approval *Prepare and send closing/final settlement instructions using the lenders Technology Platform *Review and approve prelim HUD -1 or HUD-1a Settlement Statement for accuracy and compliance per 2010 RESPA regulations and manage Closing Agents to ensure all corrections are made per RESPA compliance; *Complete closing checklist and confirm closing has occurred *Audit calculations and legal documents for accuracy *Assist in the maintenance of online communication tools *Communicates requirements and other information to clients including Title exceptions *Communicates with customers verifying information or obtaining clarification of information from the title products *Interface with lenders to facilitate document delivery, execution and funding of loan Education High School diploma or equivalent Skills Strong customer service orientation - Detail orientation - Excellent verbal communication - Problem solving skills - Strong organizational skills - 1-2 years experience as an Escrow Asst I or a minimum of 3 years experience in a related real estate, mortgage or title field If you qualify for this opportunity, please APPLY ONLINE!
