Our client has engaged us on a search to help them find a candidate to join the Finance Group with a dotted line to Accounting. This person will be handling 50% analytical work and 50% accounting work. The person is reporting to the FDIC (numbers) very complex schedules and reconciliations. The person will also be balancing loans. One a monthly basis, the person will be tracking the loans and reporting on them on a quarterly basis. The group also does the investment portfolio accounting, cash balances and reporting. The person will be working with corresponding banks on charges and recoveries. Analyst / Accountant Qualifications: Excel knowledge of creating pivot tables, lookups v and h, sorting data, linking spreadsheets (MACROS are a plus) Access knowledge Datawarehouse knowledge is a plus Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting 4-10 years of experience Banking or Credit Union or Portfolio Accounting Background This is a temporary to hire position.
