We work with thousands of young people in London each week. We need every young person’s details to be entered onto our new database so that we can communicate with families more effectively and gain statistics that are crucial for the evaluation of our service. We are looking for a data assistant to input these details into our new system. Role description We need volunteers to join our data entry team to accurately transfer our participants’ details from questionnaires on to our new Participant Database. You will liaise with the Database Manager in order to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and detail. Person specification To fulfil this role you need to be able to: Have experience of using databases and spreadsheets Have excellent attention to detail Be able to work independently with minimal supervision Be organised and thorough Build rapport and communicate professionally with other staff members and external parties. Further details The role is for two-three weeks and ideally three full days but hours of volunteering (within standard office hours) can be agreed to suit the successful candidate. Full induction and training will be provided. We offer to cover reasonable expenses including travel to and from the office, and in some cases lunch. This role is office-based in West London. The nearest tube station is Shepherds Bush on the Central Line or Shepherds Bush Market on the Hammersmith and City Line. We are also close to Shepherds Bush Overground Station and are served by multiple bus routes.
