On behalf of our local public sector client, Ignite Technical is looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Consultant to join our client’s Finance team on a contract basis to support a PeopleSoft Implementation project.   Overview:   Our client is currently implementing PeopleSoft HCM and some of its subsidiary modules.  The implementation is being handled largely by the vendor and is nearing completion.  One gap that has been identified is the need for a consultant to come in and act as the Peoplesoft Payroll SME.   The Payroll SME will be responsible for ensuring that the payroll runs will be as close to error-free as possible once the system goes live.  So far the client has run 4 (non-production) payroll runs in parallel to their existing payroll system and (Net Payments) accuracy is hovering around 95%.   The successful candidate would be responsible for designing and executing the necessary test case scenarios to ensure that subsequent runs are 100% accurate and the system is resilient to conventional irregularities that affect payroll.   Example duties involved:   Review and audit YTD balance loading from legacy system (Earnings, Deductions, Taxes, EI, Leaves, Gratuity, Loans, Loan Taxable benefits, etc.) Participate in the review and audit of Accumulators required for triggering notifications for eligibility (enrolment for pension plan, pay step increments, etc.) Review and oversee the Payroll In-Sync process to ensure that HR and Benefit changes are updated in Payroll   Other duties may include:   Review and test for financial transactions to PS Financials Participate in the development and testing of the security setup Review End User documentation Review payroll process checklist Review T&L End User and System Administration documentation and identify gaps   Requirements:   5+ years' PeopleSoft Funcional Analyst experience Must have experience configuring Peoplesoft HCM/Payroll modules Demonstrated PeopleSoft HCM Payroll implementation experience   Terms:   This is a consulting engagement and is expected to be 6 months but will be renewed until the implementation, and related knowledge-transfer, is completed.   If you meet the required criteria and are interested in the above position, please submit a Word version of your resume HERE !   **Due to the volume of resumes, only those candidates being considered will be contacted.   Ignite.
