Our client, located in Norwell, Massachusetts, is seeking a C#/ASP .NET Developer to perform the following duties: Development of business applications Work with other software engineers to design develop a user interface for managing the processing of data files Construct and execute unit and system testing Undertake peer-to-peer code reviews of colleagues' development tasks Ensure clear and early communication, ensuring that relevant parties are kept informed of progress, issues and difficulties Proactively work to mitigate risks, improve quality in an efficient manner and resolve problems that arise Participate as part of an Agile team, and follow best practices established by the Scrum methodology Experience/Knowledge/Skills: Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science or MIS/CIS) or reasonable level of relevant commercial development experience (eg 2+ years of user interface development) with a proven track record of successful delivery Experience using a recognized development methodology, eg Agile experience and understanding of the role of the developer in the full SDLC Proven track record of feature level design Proven track record of success with unit/system testing Solid working knowledge of the following technologies: User interface design C# ASP.NET HTML/CSS Javascript/AJAX/JQuery Software patterns including MVC Transact Sql (MS Sql Server) WCF Visual Studio 2010 and Team Foundation Server 2010 Test Driven Development Desirable: Working knowledge of the following technologies: XML/SOAP/IIS Data Dynamics' Active Reports.NET Telerik RadControls Entity Framework Database Design/Tuning with MS Sql Server 2005/2008
