Windows Security Services Engineer
Windows Security Services Engineer Northbrook, IL Saven Technologies is currently seeking a Windows Security Services Engineer for a long term contract, possibly contract to hire, position in the northern Chicago suburbs. The Information Security Department this role will work in is responsible for managing security technologies at the client. This includes architecture, design, implementation, and support of security controls in relation to Access Control Management. The department is responsible for insuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of client systems. The successful candidate should exhibit the following skills and abilities: • Good working knowledge of Active Directory, with an emphasis on object management, user administration and auditing. • Good working knowledge of Windows Security, and Windows/AD security best practices. • A working understanding of the LDAP protocol. • Moderate Experience in Windows and Active directory administrative Scripting. .net / powershell preferred. • Strong Logic and Analytical Skills • The ability to articulate security principles to every level of end user. • Ability to work successfully with others in large and small teams. • Ability to motivate and inspires others to perform at a high level, taking appropriate risks, and accepting personal accountability for actions and decisions. • Assertiveness - Ability to troubleshoot incidents until root cause resolutions. • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to transform technical knowledge into business language (e.g. reports, presentations, etc.) • A strong aptitude and attitude in learning new knowledge in information science and Information security. • Ability to work in a dynamic team across different disciplines and be self sufficient. • Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Engineering, Computers Science, or related field, with 3 - 5 years of field experience preferred
