Sarah ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Designs, develops, tests, and implements software applications using standardize methodologies and industry best practices. 2. Participates in code reviews and provides suggestions to improve quality and comply with coding standards and best practices. 3. Assist with requirements definition and functional application design. 4. Create and maintain technical documentation and standards. 5. Facilitates knowledge transfer to development and support team members. 6. Provides technical leadership to development and production support team members. 7. Designs and implements high performance, scalable enterprise information architecture and distributed applications design. 8. Provides technical support and troubleshoots applications issues and bugs. 9. Maintain effective relationships with user department personnel. 10. Analyze existing application design, architecture and code to improve quality, mitigate issues and improve performance and functionality. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BS or BA degree in information systems, computer science, business administration or related work experience. 7+ years of commercial or enterprise large scale applications development in a team environment 3+ years of large scale distributed systems architecture, design and implementation Working knowledge and expertise with multiple Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) and industry standard development methodologies. Prior experience in leading/mentoring execution focused development teams Working knowledge and experience with integrated testing /test driven development processes Excellent documentation and knowledge transfer skills Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities
