Job Title : Tech Support Location:Reno, NV 770 Smithridge Drive Duration 6 months Job Description: Analyzes requirements to meet demand and performance of Avaya products, systems and/or data. Will perform remote and onsite engineering support including interaction with end customer and third party vendors. Will test and implement all components, equipment, and software within the functional area of the Avaya product line. Applies commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures to resolve a variety of troubleshooting issues. Works on problems of moderate scope. Exercises judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Identifies issues and provides resolution to the customer. Normally receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new projects or assignments. Minimum Requirements: (Not Editable) Good understanding of Avaya product line and overall telecommunications industry; good knowledge of one or more engineering disciplines and vendor equipment. Good knowledge of accepted engineering practices. Computer software knowledge to include Avaya CM, Avaya ASA, and Microsoft Office. Good analytical skills; the ability to prioritize; good oral and written communication skills; and good interpersonal skills. Physical Requirements: (Not Editable) Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted. Must be able to travel locally and throughout the state in support of customer requirements. Education & Experience:. (Not Editable) 6 + years equivalent related Avaya product experience required.
