Infrastructure Program Manager Precision Task Group needs your expertise to have experience in a complex infrastructure environment that includes familiarity with a broad set of infrastructure such as servers, storage, Mainframe, network, database, etc. To be responsible for the overall management of infrastructure project delivery either directly as the PM or managing other infrastructure project managers. May supervise several contract infrastructure PM*s and support staff (FA/BA). Will report to the PMO Delivery Manager and will follow all existing PMO processes and procedures and ensure PM*s in the infrastructure group follow them as well. Below is the description and responsibilities of the Program Manager. Description The role of the Program Manager is to plan, execute, and close projects according to strict scope, schedule, quality and budget. This person may personally manage projects or manage project managers who will execute the projects. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The project portfolio of infrastructure for 2013 is expected to be roughly $5M. Position Requirements as follows: Strong familiarity with Microsoft Project 2010 Experience at working both independently and in team-oriented, collaborative environments is essential SAP experience preferred Experience migrating legacy systems to SAP strongly preferred Demonstrated experience in personnel management Microsoft Server 2010 experience preferred Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and time lines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently Flexible during times of change Persuasive, encouraging and motivating Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity Strong interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial Must be PMP certified Program Management experience required * demonstration of management of other project managers in matrix environment. Project Management experience of at least 10 years of medium and large scale projects Must have direct experience working with/supervising BA efforts within the project(s) Infrastructure project management experience in medium and large projects ($1M-$6M) Must have Microsoft Project 2010 experience College Degree required (Responsibilities will be presented if qualified for the role)
