- Implement code enhancements and bug fixes on all aspects of the project: - The database is populated by PHP scripts culling information from other systems and loading it into purpose-specific relational tables. - The client is a web site for presenting the data to the users in text and table forms using JQuery, javascript, HTML, PHP, and CSS. - Create, document and propose designs for peer review. - Follow the directions of senior team members. Qualifications - College degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology required - 4+ years experience with software development. - Required: PHP, javascript, HTML and SQL. - Preferred: JQuery, Zend framework, file parsing, regular expressions, web services and shell scripting. - Solid understanding of object oriented analysis and MVC design principles. - Experience with relational databases (MySQL and Oracle 10/11 preferred). - Experience with UNIX or Linux operating systems. - Experience using source code control systems (Subversion preferred). - Experience in a structured development environment as part of a team of engineers, developers and testers. - Excellent verbal, written, analytical and communications skills. - Self motivated and able to work independently. - Ability to deliver on promised dates. - Excellent team, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Experience with wireless preferred but not required.
