Sr. Varonis Permissions Management System Admin Thousand Oaks, CA Our client, a global leader in the Pharmaceutical industry is seeking a Sr. Varonis Permissions Management System Admin for a major pharma security initiative project. This is an 18+ month contract position, and the candidate will operate onsite in Thousand Oaks, CA. This position will provide expertise in deploying and managing the Varonis suite of tools in a global, complex organization. This will require the system analyst to work with data owners of different business functions to ensure solutions implemented do not negatively impact the business. Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership for Varonis implementation Lead efforts to deploy Varonis globally Configure Varonis to meet business rules Support Varonis tool sets specifically Data Privilege and Data Advantage for the operational environment Provide guidance and assistance to data owners, data users and others in the business for data protection Create and present Varonis reports at regular intervals Perform ongoing monitoring of service for adherence and continuous improvements Basic Qualifications: Experience with deploying and managing Varonis specifically Data Privilege and Data Advantage modules in complex environments Experience with deploying Security Programs or Data Protection Programs Excellent analytical, problem-solving, business analysis and decision-making skills Ability to establish, maintain and enhance relationships with clients, partners and other IS groups Strong collaboration and communication skills Knowledge of IS privacy and compliance policies, SOPs and associated documents Experience working in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology/Biomedical devices/Healthcare Industries Past experience working in a global environment Client management skills - ability to work with internal business functions to understand their business processes, manage scope of work expectations and suggest / recommend IS solutions Ability to function in a matrix team environment Experience with system design, configuration and business processes Knowledge of technical diagrams, process flowcharting and project management using MS Office applications, including MS Project and MS Visio and similar applications Ability to master, with minimal support, new IS technologies and processes Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to multi-task and stay focused on priorities in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines, including the ability to be comfortable and function effectively in an environment of ambiguity Strong team player who is able to collaborate with colleagues on complex tasks and can use influence to achieve the required results Understanding of business intelligence and reporting technologies Ability to participate/support efforts being run across multiple sites to ensure solutions satisfy local requirements
