Java Production Support Owings Mills, MD Duration: 1-2 year (strong possibility of extension) Required Skills: Java / J2EE, EJB, Unix, Websphere, Oracle / DB2 Database, HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript This position provides production support for Websphere/Portal applications in the Institutional business line. The applications are integrated with both Oracle and DB2 databases and are used in support of critical business functions. The developer role will be responsible for understanding and supporting all products and processes in production to ensure that applications have high availability in order to meet. The developer will be responsible for timely and thorough troubleshooting of application issues and will implement solutions quickly. They will coordinate with the appropriate internal department's resources to assist with problem resolutions. There may be some interface with vendors as needed.
