JDE Functional Inventory Management and Procurement positions (4) – Edmonton We are seeking experienced Oracle EnterpriseOne/JD Edwards Functional Senior Consultants to assist with a critical client project in the Industrial Manufacturing sector. We need a number of consultants (2-4) to assist with the implementation of Inventory Management and Procurement functions in an existing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environment. Critical components of this project include the development of an Item Master standard and then the implementation of the standard for a key operational area of our client's business. Important aspects for consideration include: (1) Mutliple material type definitions to cover a broad array of products required to facilitate industrial fabrication and assembly requirements; (2) Capabilitiy to track, manage and maintain serialized and lot based inventory information; (3) Ability to manage the materials information requirements of Industruial Manufacturing, including inventory staging and availability information, materials with multiple Units of Measure requiments and conversion, bill of materails management including complete revision history tracking, etc. (4) Integration with existing functions already in place for the client (Project Systems, Procurement, Requisitions, etc). Key Responsibilities/Job Functions: - Work on a collaborative team analyzing client issues and developing solutions - Review of current business processes and the development of new Process Flows required to utilize the EnterpriseOne functions and meet the needs of operations - Design of EnterpriseOne enabling components with a focus on Inventory Management for materials (may also include eleemnts in Procurement/SubContract Management and Manufacturing for BOM management) - Full implementation cycle support including design documentation, testing, develop requirements (as needed), data conversion, training program development and delivery, etc. - Author presentations and present findings to clients - Prioritize objectives and contribute to project planning and status reporting Qualifications - Graduate degree or professional designation an asset; Oracle JD Edwards specialization or certification is also highly desired. - 5 years relevant work experience including full cycle implementation experience from Planning through Design, Testing and Implementation - Data conversion experience specific to inventory management functions (Item Master data loads, BOM Loads, etc) - Strong commitment to professional client service excellence - Ability to identify and resolve complex issues and develop innovative solutions for clients - Ability to communicate, interact, and cooperate with clients - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptulize new approaches and solutions - Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving Location: Edmonton Start Date: Sept 10, 2012 Duration: 4 - 6 Months (exact duration to be determined through Planning phase of project) Rate plus expenses will be paid Canadian or US citizens only.
