Our valued client’s includes fortune 500 companies, Government Agencies. DatamanUSA is looking for an experienced SharePoint consultant to provide consulting on a SharePoint rollout. In this role you will work with our client to provide Strategy, Gap Analysis and work on the organizations communications and training plan. Required Skills and Competencies: The ideal candidate will be a senior level SharePoint consultant. Public Sector experience would be a plus but not required Need SharePoint experience. Has ability to rollout SharePoint into the organization such as gap analysis, communication, training, etc 1. Review current conditions and practices including system architecture, governance practices, institutional setting, prior migrations, work flows, forms, retention programs, records management practices, training, etc. Develop overall Roadmap / Strategic Plan addressing: a. People Process and Technology b. Governance Structure and Practices (including) i. the hub Content Management (Corporate Dashboard) ii. Retention of Records iii. Common resource iv. None record / governable documents such as those related to projects, training, reference materials, and general operations c. Training Plan d. Training Materials i. General instructional ii. User cheat sheets e. Communication Plan f. Content Migration Strategy g. User Support Plan h. Alternative Incentives and Rewards Strategies i. Structure for End User Feedback j. Scalable prototypes including: i. Metadata ii. Forms iii. Work Flows 3. Develop a detailed Project Plan to complete the agency-wide migration from the legacy intranet, eRoom, shared drives and 2 legacy document control systems into the hub. The project plan shall include in detail: a. Migration technical and phasing alternatives b. Pilot migration project for two business unit groups c. Recommended activities d. Required staff skills e. Resource structure and staff loadings (RTD IT, RTD Business Units and outside consultants) f. Schedule 4. Pilot Migration Project Prepare, provide, and support all activities necessary to completely migrate two candidate business units into the proposed SharePoint2010 structure. At this time, Rail Operations and Safety, Security and Facilities are the designated Departments.
