Our client is in need of a Sr PL/SQL Developer with extensive experience in architecture, design and hands on development of PL/SQL. This is a 3 mos plus contract. This developer will be working on a Time and Attendance application that is being used by ADP's customer facing products. This is a new application so they will spend their time at first doing design work then 100% development working with the DBA's. DAY TO DAY: - Need to be able to do the architecture and design perspective, then perform the PL/SQL development in and out. - Need to be able to use functions in Oracle, be able to have a broad scope of knowledge on Oracle and PL/SQL. - This is a new development project and there is a ton of Pl/SQL work that will need to be completed. TECHNICAL NEEDS: - 5+ years of documented experience with Database Architecture especially using Oracle, RAC and Advance Queuing - 5+ years of experience in efficient PL/SQL coding and SQL tuning - Design and implement database objects supporting business. - Experience working with Oracle databases (11g/10g/9i). - Work with SQL *PLUS, PL/SQL to write complex database programs. - Present data models and reviews during internal and external peer review meetings. - Analyze production database issues - Must be able to understand all aspects of SQL programming. - Participate in the identification and analysis of innovations and concepts during Design, implementation, and maintenance phases in Oracle database, including SQL tuning, secure access to data. - Act in a lead role for projects - Accept responsibility for all aspects of database administration, as needed. - Assist with capacity planning. - Collaborate effectively with Analysts, Developers, and QA teams - Work in an Agile environment including onshore and offshore resources.
