* Job Title: Finance Manager (Band 8a) * Employer: NHS Foundation Trust * Location: South East * Rate: �200-300 per day * Contract: 9 Months (Maternity Cover) My client is a leading NHS Foundation Trust in the South East which is looking for a tenured proven Finance Manager (Band 8a) to provide 9 months maternity cover. You will have a strong background within NHS finance with recent experience operating as a Finance Manager of a similar band level. The Finance Manager will be responsible for continuing the day to day running of the finance team and providing additional support across the organisation where needed. As the Finance Manager, your primary duties and responsibilities will include: * Day to day management of junior accountants * Budget setting and forecasting * Reporting to the Head of Management Accounts * Assisting with business cases and CIP schemes * Assisting with PbR and SLR projects * Financial reporting Essential Skills: * NHS acute or foundation trust experience * Fully qualified accountant * Finance Manager (Band 8a) * Excellent IT and Excel skills * Excellent communication skills * Excellent management accounting experience Candidates will only be considered with recent experience as a Finance Manager within the NHS.
