TEKsystems currently has a contract opportunity for an SAP BI Portal Developer/Administrator with a large client in the Columbus, Ohio market. The SAP BI Portal Developer/Administrator will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of the structures necessary to present BI content to users. The client employs a 4-tier federated SAP Enterprise Portal (EP) connect to SAP BI (BW) and SAP BusinessObjects Webi/Crystal/Dashboards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities *SAP BI Portal Developer/Administrator will analyze requirements and apply principles, concepts and techniques in developing presentation solutions and strategies. *Assess existing and available data warehousing technologies and methods to ensure our BI architecture meets the needs of the business units and enterprise and allows for business growth. Provide recommendations on evolution of the architecture. *Contribute to knowledge transfer and user training. *Share knowledge with other BI team members to expand collective knowledge of group BI team. *Prepare, monitor, troubleshoot, and test the federated portal landscape. *Deploy Business Intelligence (BI) reports and structures created in various tools: BEx Web with Portal iViews, Business Objects Webi, Crystal Reports, Dashboards. Qualifications *Minimum of 3-5 years of SAP experience. *3+ years of SAP Portal Developer experience including design, development, implementation and support. *At least two to three full lifecycles of SAP BW implementation experience. *Proven track record of architecting SAP Portal solutions. *Cross functional knowledge of other SAP modules. *Knowledge and experience integrating development of Business Objects tools, including Webi, Crystal, Dashboards, with Portals.
