JavaScript Developer - Backbone, Node, TDD, Qunit, Jasmine Successful Javascript developer will be responsibility for the implementation and testing of world leading lottery website. My client, a major gaming company based in North London, is looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer / Web Developer for a long term JavaScript contract. You will be working with the latest technologies including Backbone and Underscore in a TDD environment using Qunit and Jasmine. The successful Javascript developer must be able to take direction as well as work on their own imitative, update manager on a regular basis. You will be hands-on testing, coding, reviewing and documenting with appropriate technical solutions based on JavaScript OOP. Cut great code and influence others to do the same. Key Skills: * Expertise in languages, Java 1.6, Objective-C, C++, HTML, JavaScript * Great problem solving skills, with a strong bias for quality and engineering excellence * Experience developing in Spring, JMS, J2EE, Groovy, Grails, Hibernate, JPA. * Knowledge of Web Services, ESB's, asynchronous messaging, service versioning/backwards compatibility issues * Strong knowledge and experience in testing and/or developing Web services (REST and/or SOAP). * Experiences of an Agile environment, TDD, BDD, XP experience/passion * SQL / database development postgres / mysql / db2 / Oracle * XML based technologies
