The Company: Our client is an International Producer and Distributor of well-known, popular TV content. The Role: Working across a range of content, including Formats, Entertainment, Drama, Factual and Comedy, you will be dealing with the general legal matters such as the entertainment licensing and contract handling. Key Responsibilities – The negotiation and drafting of deals/agreements - Development, distribution, TV Programme license Formats and consumer merchandising. Offering day to day legal and commercial advice to the sales and acquisition teams Deal with the legal documentation and ensure the smooth running of legal operations - assisting in the creation of agreement templates and issuing brand protection documents. The Person: The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working for a TV distribution company with a demonstrable knowledge of licensing and agency agreements. You will also ­– Possess knowledge of standard distribution terms Have a proven track record of dealing with international licensees & programme suppliers Have up to date and relevant media knowledge as well as an understanding of emerging platforms/new media.
