Our client is seeking a Platform Scale Software Engineer for long-term contract opportunity with potential to convert full-time. This is a Scrum Agile Environment. The selected candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment. The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * 5-7 years of software development experience (development NOT implementation) * A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science * 5+ years of .NET / C# experience * Strong WCF experience (2+ years) * Strong server-side coding and SOA experience * Must have deep understanding of and experience with high performance / high transaction platforms (several million transactions per day and growing) like finance, eCommerce, and B2C * Strong unit-testing skills and experience creating test-harnesses * Must have created and executed performance, stress, and load tests * Excellent communication and partnering skills * Strong documentation skills * Must have worked in a Scrum, Agile Environment * Must have worked in a fast paced environment * Must possess hands-on development experience
