Servoca Education is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work with a larger than average, mixed Primary school who has been graded by Ofsted as "Good". A large majority of pupils are from a range of ethnic groups, of which the majority are from Black African backgrounds. This is a contract position for one academic year, paying up to £70 per day. For the right Teaching Assistant this could turn in to a permanent position. If you have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools, a Higher Level Teaching Assistant certificate, a degree or a qualification in a similar / relevant subject, we would love to hear from you. Overall, candidates must have a passion for supporting students in a primary school environment, be able to support students who have English as an additional language and students with moderate learning difficulties such as emotional, social and behaviour difficulties. Experience of working in British schools is advantageous, however, not essential.
