The Systems Analyst works with Development Managers, Project Managers, and the clients to analyze, identify, assess, and document functional and technical requirements. This role supports internal and external clients with the discovery, approval, specification, creation, and testing software development projects. Primary Responsibilities: Collaborate with Developers and Subject Matter Experts to establish the technical vision for a specific client installation of EQ work stations including work flow, users and permissions, data integration, and rules management Apply detailed understanding of platform configuration and architectural trade-offs to functional and technical designs Apply detailed understanding of electronic data transmission protocols (web services data mapping and XSLT development) to data integration requirements Collaborate with an Architect, Development Manager, Business Analyst, and Project Manager in creating detailed functional specifications - can translate functional specifications into technical specifications Follow projects through the development process; working closely with Developers and Quality Assurance Analysts to resolve any questions and stabilize code Prepare high-quality requirements, specifications, technical processes, and recommendations that meet client and company requirements and continuously improve processes Obtain requirements using interviews, document analysis, discovery sessions, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis Drive consensus across multiple stakeholders Work with the Software Developers and other end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction Assist in the development of test plans The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science 2 to 3 years of a programming background; 5-15 years of work experience including 2 to 3 years of systems or business analysis experience Ability to develop 'pseudo-code' and communicate requirements directly with Developers Ability to structure data integration files and formats across multiple platforms Mortgage banking experience is preferred
