Located in Roseland, New Jersey, the Cognos Enterprise Administrator will be responsible for: Leading the design and deployment of global Enterprise-wide Cognos Business Intelligence solutions. Collaborating with technology and deployment teams to develop a standard process for deployment and maintenance Deploying and designing a scalable Cognos solution utilizing all product components including reporting studios, TM1, Transformer, etc. Creating best practices in monitoring and configuring Cognos in an Enterprise scale solution Designing and deploying robust, scalable and dynamic Enterprise-Wide Framework Manager metadata models with distributed deployment sources Deploying components for all operational, analytic and ad-hoc data/reporting needs Developing a 'best practice' approach to all business intelligence and Cognos deployment In addition to the experience performing the responsibilities listed above, candidates must meet the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): Must have worked within a deployment on Suse-Linux platform, utilizing Oracle Databases as sources In-depth understanding of all Cognos product configuration options for development, QA, production and DR setup including detailed understanding all Cognos Security options Strong communication skills and the ability to work with various end-user groups, functional teams and related IT teams Documentation skills are a must; expect to drive technical hand off meetings with hosting organizations in order to safely and securely maintain the enterprise solution within the data centers by the operations team Cognos 10, Suse Linux, Oracle 11g skills BladeLogic skills Strong communication skills including ability to drive a technical presentation
