The Oracle DBA in Carmel, Indiana administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database. Our client needs someone who understands the technical aspects of Oracle databases and in depth. You will work with development teams, the DBA team and platform engineers to ensure that usage of Oracle is always optimal and that the available tools and technologies are identified and used appropriately. This role implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. The following skills, knowledge and experience are required for this position unless noted otherwise: RAC is highly desired GoldenGate is highly desired 5+ years of experience in the entire Oracle databases environment and architecture 5+ years of experience supporting Oracle RAC, ASM, and Sun Cluster on Linux and Solaris systems In-depth knowledge of Essbase, planning administration and performance tuning Deep knowledge of Oracle databases tuning and optimization
