The PLM coordinator will provide functional support assisting controls team in their day to day work and also tell how to use the system. Where possible the PLM coordinator will seek to provide real time solutions for user problems. QUALIFICATIONS: • B.S. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree. • Customer centricity and availability. • Excellent communications, interpersonal, team building, project & presentation skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management and functional personnel. • Expert knowledge of Windows 7 (or current windows platform), MS Desktop Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint). • Strong documentation skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Daily issues resolution • Ensure no delay/impact on project deliverables/productivity because of PLM issue • Provide various tips and tricks in PLM which helps user to complete the work quickly • Provide workaround in case of any PLM issue after any intermediate PLM release. • Review all new releases for details and changes and determine what effects on controls team processes. Ensure change can be incorporated with NO negative affect on process. • Identifying any Risk because of new PLM releases and make the mitigation plan • Focal point/SME for any PLM related activities for controls team • Document process changes for training and standardization of process for control team. • Continuous Process Improvement • Conducting war rooms for controls team after any major Go-Live • Prepare training documentation for controls team which may help users in their daily work. • Work with CCB and identify the key areas which help to increase the productivity and raise the new requirement or enhancement in QC. The PLM coordinator will also provide the following services: • Documentation - Create control specific documentation for training and information aids. • Maintain user documentation in Support Central, site/location to be supplied.
