As an HTML Email Web Developer will work to create and maintain email-based marketing campaigns, newsletters, and lifecycle email marketing for all clients and brands across the enterprise. We are looking for an email developer who has HTML email campaign development experience. Day to day will be responsible for new email builds, email modifications and landing page builds. Ideally you should have front end/design skills to help with theme tools, websites etc. You will work directly with other Web Developers focused on email campaigns and landing pages, establish standards and best practices, work with ESP vendors on new capabilities and features, and continually identify and introduce solutions and efficiencies that improve the overall email marketing space for the company. You will need to be technically adept with the nuances of cross-email-client development, list management and segmentation, deliverability, email tracking, and familiar with email marketing best practices, including things such as CAN-SPAM. This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, proven ability to work efficiently and the drive to grow in your email marketing career. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop HTML e-mails for marketing campaigns. Develop custom landing pages and microsites to support e-mail and traditional direct mail campaigns. Customize and build themes for sites built with Drupal / Word Press. Create and update graphics in close consultation with in-house designers Make text updates via a combination of interfaces, including straight HTML and other content management systems (CMS). QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years’ experience as a web developer with a strong foundation in color, type and layout Technical proficiency building websites from design documents/graphical representations Experience with PHP 5, PostGreSQL Must work well in a collaborative environment Must work well to meet tight deadlines Must be self-sufficient and able to handle multiple projects Must be well organized with strong attention to detail Also need to have a combination of the technical skills and environments below: Computer Software Skills: Design Production, Adobe Photoshop CS5, Adobe Flash CS5, Adobe Illustrator CS5, Adobe InDesign CS5, Adobe Dreamweaver CS5, Adobe AfterEffects, Autodesk Maya Operating Systems: Mac OSX 10.0 - 10.6, Windows 95 – 7 Development Production: (Experienced in hand coded) HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Actionscript 2.0 & 3.0 Online Production Platforms: Drupal 6 & 7, Wordpress, email service provider blast tools Additional Skills: Proficiency with Flash.
