Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering professionals, has immediate openings for an approximate 6 month temporary role for a Supplier Quality Engineer with a leading manufacturing company in the Mayfield/Highland Heights area, near Cleveland, OH. In this position candidates will: Assist management in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system. Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfers to Production of new products are in accordance with approved data. Create Control Plans, PFMEAs, Work Instructions, Inspection Plans. Drive Corrective Actions within corporate and production team environment. Lead process document modifications. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be accepted. 3+ years of hands-on experience in a Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace manufacturing environment. 3+ years of experience in Quality, including continuous improvement, APQP, developing FMEAs, control plans, and establishing quality management systems. Demonstrated ability to develop new work processes, tools, and functional capabilities. Written skills to document procedures is required. Skills in methods and equipment to measure key quality characteristics of a process. Understanding of Inspection Plans, AQL, Corrective Actions. Strong understanding of statistical methods and quality tools and methodologies, such as 8D, SPC, AQP, FMEA, Control Plans, LEAN, DMAIC, QFD.
