Sr. Systems Analyst (SOA) 6 Month Contract (w/ possible extensions) Gaithersburg, MD Responsibilities: Work with Enterprise Quality, Risk and Compliance Group to develop and review service continuity plan guidelines for the domain Elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements and present solution options for changes to business processes, data policies and information systems Support solution requirements communication, ensuring that stakeholders have a shared understanding of the requirements; work as liaison among stakeholders in order to understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements Work closely with Domain Architects to ensure that solutions are aligned with the overall enterprise architecture strategy and meet business requirements Assists in Managing Service Registry and repository Monitoring and providing assistance during System and UAT testing Assist in maintaining SOA Service Model Hands-on design and development experience in data integration. Establishing and documenting governance procedures (Client Onboarding, Change Management & Release management etc.) Creating use cases for new services and operations and analysis of Use cases for pre-existing assets Required Experience: 8 years of IT experience required with an in-depth integration knowledge (demonstrating understanding of Integration space irrespective of technology implementation) Competence with Identifying innovation opportunities when it comes to data, services, composite applications and data mashups Experience in SOA (Service Oriented Architecture: Web Services and related Web Service Standards, BPM , Enterprise Service Buses (for example Oracle SOA Suite 11g etc.), Business Process Engines (BPEL), Service Registries and Repositories Familiarity with Fusion Middleware: ORACLE SERVICE BUS (OSB), BPEL, BPM.
