My client is looking for a superb freelancer to join the team ASAP for 1 month contract. You’ll be working on an exciting project for a large IT company. You’ll need to have a sound awareness of the technology directorate and of other business functions You’ll work closely with the client and will need to communicate key principals such as user centred design, agile delivery and quality management. Responsibilities may include: - Working with end customers to understand, capture and refine their requirements -Serving as the business proxy -Supporting the delivery/development teams -Engagement with the business Customer Experience and Information Architects and supporting the definition of user journeys, etc -Support the development and architecture team to define solutions and appropriate design patterns -Work with the QA team to define the functional and non-functional requirements associated with the Online delivery activities -Providing awareness and education on the role of the business analysis function across key stakeholder groups -Having come from a technical background (i.e. from a developer background) Main activities of the role: -Understanding requirements from business users and translating them into user stories with acceptance criteria -Identifying coherent sets of end-to-end functionality -Splitting down Epic User Stories into release and sprint level for the development team Key skills you’ve got to own -Interviewing -Requirements elicitation and user story generation -Knowledge capture -Written communications -Liaising with business stakeholders -Analysis -Business process design -Business rules design -Data and process modelling -UI and interaction design -Information architecture -Usability If this sounds like your cup of tea, apply directly kelly@digitalgurus.co.uk
