Junior Linux System Administrator Modis is assisting our client in Sunnyvale, CA search for a Junior Linux System Administrator. Our innovative client is looking for a contractor to join their team who can exceed their system administration needs on Linux. QUALIFICATIONS: • 2-3 years of Linux System Administration • Deploy and maintain Linux systems in a secure, operational, and efficient state to meet business needs. • Gnome and KDE • Printing • Autofs • NIS • System administration skill on Linux systems • Kickstart and Redhat satellite (OS provisioning and patching) RESPONSIBILITIES / SCOPE OF WORK: • Maintain system security including the areas of authentication, authorization, and access control. • Provide customer support on different platforms and collaboration between system and sites • Troubleshoot and user training • Monitoring and configuration management • Documentation all processes, configurations and follow procedures on change management • knowledge on core services, applications and protocols SSH, DNS , NTP, DHCP, NFS, TCP/IP, etc • scripting skills • Hardware knowledge • HP Blades • Operation in datacenter • Manage remote office equipment • Require to rack mount server and deploy desktop on user cube For consideration, email SOLEIL.ILAGAN@MODIS.COM
