A position has opened as a Community Fundraiser at a prominent UK charity based in Hampshire to assist in carrying out the fundraising plan to ensure growth and sustainable net income from a variety of fundraising streams. Responsibilities will include: - Raise specified amounts as determined by the line manager in local fundraising plan - Managing fundraising projects outlined within plans to support legacy fundraising in area - Recruiting and training new volunteers to organise and attend events - Initiating, building, and fostering relationships with external bodies in order to develop a wide and varied donor base - Ensuring accurate records are held of income, thanking and responding to supporters and donors in an appropriate manner - Ensuring effective and best use of fundraising materials and other resources Applicants should meet the following requirements: - Experience in customer care, public relations or other role involving significant communication skills - Understanding of working with volunteers - Excellent organisational skills and the ability to keep accurate records - Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office software If you believe that you possess the relevant skills and experience to apply for this position, please send me your updated CV as soon as possible.
