Technical Support Analyst – FTSE 100 Organisation Location: Watford Rate: £100 - £130 per day depending on experience, 6 month contract. Our Client is a global technology company listed on the London Stock Exchange. A world leader in the practical application of advanced technologies, they deliver products and services for the threat & contraband detection, medical devices, energy, communications and engineered components markets worldwide. Purpose of role: ü To be responsible for all deployment, training and support activities related to personal computing and software ü To provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support to the 1st line helpdesk team ü To ensure the defined customer care philosophy is adhered to at all times The role: ü To provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support ü Assist in the implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures ü Document installation procedures for client software and hardware ü Provide training and support to 1st line helpdesk analysts ü Asset management The person: ü Must have experience in a technical support role providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support on a global scale ü Strong communication and collaboration skills ü Experience of creating and delivering training material ü Good knowledge of ITIL Service Delivery processes (preferably with formal certification) ü Ability to work under pressure To apply please email your CV online.
