If interested please email your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org Job Summary: The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for developing, leading, and influencing business requirements for both standard reporting and major project initiatives. He/she will work with the project manager and the business owner/user to drive the requirement gathering process. The Senior Business Analyst will complete the business requirement document and the value verification (success criteria) process to measure the business impact of enterprise data management and information delivery (reporting and analytics) efforts. This role works in concert with other departments in order to define and implement the overall BI program goals and tasks in terms of scope, quality, budget, schedule and benefit. He/she will act as the subject matter expert for all requirement and success criteria information. In the process of gathering the business requirement, the Senior Business Analyst will integrate all the information and relate the business requirement to business values and technical capabilities available to the project. He/she will become the expert at translating the business value to business requirement and carrying it through to technical requirements. Responsibilities: • Analyze business processes; define, lead and influence the development of business plans and the business case for development of new tools or enhancements to existing tools, document business requirements, and creation and routine support of standard operating procedures from a business perspective in regards to BI. • Manage day to day responsibility of the enterprise data asset port folio and serves as the subject matter expert for the data asset knowledge center. · Serve as a communication bridge between Reporting and Analysis, IT and other internal business partners regarding: data sourcing/integration, report development/enhancements, implementations and process improvements. · Establish and lead the relationship with Information Technology and Business end-user stakeholders to ensure projects are effectively put into production by working through the project lifecycle, which includes coordinating User Acceptance Testing with the Business sponsors. · Work with Data Steward, Analytics and IT teams to define data and information requirements as part of the effort to create a consistent and informative data dictionary. · Help maintain existing reporting and analytic capabilities and provide effective portfolio management and prioritization to meet internal and external customer expectation. · Manage implementation timeframes to ensure clear understanding and communication of capabilities, business requirements and customization needs. · Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience · 4 + years experience in business analysis, operational modeling and/ or reporting · 3 + years experience in managing multiple projects ranging from developing business requirements, reporting implementation to business process improvement Preferred Qualifications: · Master’s Degree · Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint · Prior experience in meeting facilitation and presenting basic concepts to working groups/colleagues/peers · Excellent oral and written communication skills; · Project implementation experience that with BI reporting applications · 3 or more years experience working with enterprise level data warehouse; PBM or healthcare experience desired · 3+years experience with PBM and/or medical claims, eligibility, benefits data Stephen Knaup Hire Investment Direct 507-288-5260 Cell 507-202-5796 MN 651-319-4004 CO 303-991-6166 AZ 480-751-1001 NY 646-200-5109 www.hireinvestment.com "Getting the Return on Your Human Capital Investment"
