Our Client requires a Database Officer to work in their Claims Solutions Group. Services cover both high value specialist claims and smaller, less complex ones. In addition to this, the team provides advice on fraudulent claims and coverage disputes. THE ROLE: Responsible for collating accurate data for new starters and thereafter entry of the information onto the appropriate databases Responsible for removing fee earner profiles across the databases on leaving  Assisting the Database Officer with the maintenance of the Claims Solutions Database that is the central hub for storing fee earner profiles as they change through the year  Responsibility for handling sensitive and confidential data and ensuring compliance with internal and external security protocols  Assisting the Database Officer with the holistic communication of fee earner changes across the relevant business areas to facilitate regular interaction with senior management and business service managers. Assisting the Database Officer with the overall accuracy of the database. Handling confidential information in line with the firms data security protocols. THE PERSON A confident and professional communicator, able to communicate with confidence and influence effectively at all levels Motivated self starter Good key board skills and IT literate, with at least intermediate Excel skills and previous experience of using databases. Good organisational and planning skills Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail Able to work independently and under pressure to meet challenging deadlines Enthusiastic and approachable with a committed and flexible attitude to work Experience of working within a commercial environment would be beneficial but is not essential   This is a temp to 12 month fixed term contract role working 30 hours per week.  Working pattern to be agreed by the line manager in advance.
