Description: - Work with a Scrum team of developers, analysts, and product owners to build Android applications for a multi-tier POS system. Responsibilities include: - Working within an Agile development methodology - Collaborating with peers to meet complex multi-tier system requirements - Implementing Java applications on an Android tablet device - Providing subject matter expertise for Android-specific development challenges - Ability to learn and absorb new technologies as needed - Sharing of application testing responsibilities with project team Education/Certification: - Bachelor’s in Computer Science or comparable. Required Experience: - 5+ total years of professional software development experience - 5+ total years of Java Development experienc e - Sound knowledge of Android SDK and technologies - Experience integrating with RESTful API’s - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - JUnit testing framework with Android Desirable Experience (not required): - Experience working on a Scrum team, experience in a team room - POS payment applications or transaction processing - Test-Driven Development - Continuous Integration Please respond to eldrich@aikoninc.com
