4 - 6 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING: Candidate will be responsible for content loading activities into a Sharepoint 2010 portal environment. Must have prior experience with the Sharepoint content management system: 2007 required, 2010 preferred. While graphic design experience is not required, the candidate must be able to perform basic image editing tasks within Adobe Photoshop, including cropping, resizing, optimizing for web, and other tasks routine for a content manager. Must have strong competency with HTML, CSS, and using the Sharepoint editor to create the desired page layouts and load content appropriately within the environment. In addition, job responsibilities will include evaluating internal and external web sites and other digital marketing initiatives for compliance to Abbott's brand standards. The candidate must have experience with using color palettes, grid systems, and other typical brand elements for web site and digital media design. Creative and design skills are not required, but the candidate must have strong knowledge and understanding of brand and design concepts to be able to effectively guage alignment of materials routed for review. Individual must be able a self-starter that is proficient enough in the above skills to become effective with minimal direction and oversight.
