If interested please send resumes to monster@dewsoftech.com .     Our client needs to fill  long-term (2 year) Software Developer - Senior positions .  The candidate with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities will need to start as soon as possible.   Work Summary The candidate filling this Senior position will be responsible for working with Development leads in the high-level systems design/architecture and full-scale implementation of the system.   The candidate will perform in a server-side development role or may also work on client side, and may also be responsible for writing requirements/technical specifications/use cases. The candidate is expected to demonstrate expertise in core Java as well as Spring and Hibernate and web technologies such as SOAP, XML, CXF and XPATH.  Applicants should have experience using multiple programming/scripting languages, developing automated test cases using the JUNIT Framework, and in cross browser development.  Experience with JSF, Richfaces, AJAX, XHTML, DHTML is a major plus.  The candidate is expected to work creatively and independently to accomplish project goals.     Responsibilities  The ideal candidate will be responsible for:  ·       Participate in design/architecture meetings. ·       Apply industry standard analysis, architecture, and development techniques to assist in providing optimum solutions. ·       System Development Efforts – design, coding, testing, debugging, quality assurance review, and appropriate documentation. ·       Performing comprehensive preliminary testing and producing all entrance criteria documentation required to promote products under development to Software Test (SQA). Interacting with other areas within the company to implement interface points via web services and other technologies. ·       Demonstrate strong problem solving ability, logic, and analytical skills. ·       Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. ·       Maintain team spirit and a positive attitude are important.   Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The ideal candidate must have at least 5-7 years of progressively diverse analysis, development, and testing experience using Java and Web technologies . The person must demonstrate strong knowledge and experience with the responsibilities outlined above.  The candidate must have significant experience with technologies listed. o        Experience in J2EE and core Java packages. o        Experience in web technologies such as: XHTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and cross-browser development. o        Major Plus experience in JSF, Richfaces, AJAX, XHTML, DHTML o        Experience with XML and Webservices – CXF is a plus. o        Experience in developing automated test cases using the JUNIT Framework. o        Experience in other frameworks such as JSF, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, etc. o        Experience with JBOSS is a plus o        Good communication skills in order to interact with clients, and other technical staff.
