• At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role with good communication skills and a pleasant helpful attitude to resolving problems. Duties can include: • Provisional hardware and software support across multi-sites; • Assist in the repair and ongoing maintenance of hardware and software systems; • Perform hardware/software installations; • Ensure least possible interruption to IT supply by either basic or advanced network management activities and troubleshooting IT related problems in a timely manner; • Customer service skills; • PC Maintenance Skills; Experience of the following is beneficial: • At least 1 years recent experience in an IT support role where you have had responsibility for repairing PC’s/ dealing with printer issues/networking etc; • Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 Client or Enterprise; • Microsoft Office 2007/2010 and/or Lotus Notes; • Microsoft Office Communicator and Live Meeting; • Microsoft IE 8 and 9/Firefox/Chrome; • Network troubleshooting; • Patching of network equipment; • Formal Microsoft Qualifications; • Experience working within the professional services sector with an appreciation of the demands placed on support teams by the business; • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills; • Possible workshop experience; • Available for on call cover when required; • Available for Out of Hours work when required; • Full Driving Licence. - Essential!
