We have a current site designed in raw php and we have installed an affiliate type script that works perfectly on it so that if the user goes to www.ourwebsite.co.za/00-12345 and then eventually decides to click on the Join link after seeing what we do and how we do it then the affiliate id in this example 00-12345 will be tracked to the online join form and submitted to us when we receive the application. We are now moving to a .com domain and the website is already designed in Wordpress. We want the exact same functionality above to be used in the Wordpress website if possible and do not want the format of the affiliate script changed at all, ie we must be able to use the affiliate tracking in the manner /00-12345 as in the above example. Someone said we wont be able to do that and we will have to use maybe something like this www.ourwebsite.com/?affiliateid=00-12345 but we do not want to do that. If not possible to do it in Wordpress then we will rather change the site from Wordpress to pure PHP and just install our current script on a new PHP designed .com domain.
